EuroChem and Migao form fertilizer joint venture in China

EuroChem (Moscow), Russia¡¯s largest fertilizer producer, and Migao Corp. (Beijing), a specialty potash fertilizer producer, today confirmed their plans to establish a fertilizer production joint venture in China. The companies first announced the plans in July. The new jv, EuroChem Migao (Hong Kong), will produce 60,000 m.t./year of potassium nitrate (NK) and 200,000 m.t./year of chlorine-free NPK complex fertilizers at Luliang in Yunnan Province. EuroChem and Migao each own 50% in the jv.
