Description
Product name: Soybean Isoflavones P.E

Latin name: C(cine max (L.) Merr

Source: Embryo of soy bean plant

Specification: 20%£¬40%£¬80% HPLC

Characteristics: Light yellow powder, bitter

Solubility: easily soluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone, pyridine, Ethyl acetate and dilute alkali solutions; hardly soluble in benzene, aether, chloroform, petroleum ether and such organic solvent, also soluble in hot water.

Ingredients:Daidzin, Daidzein, Genistin, Genistein, Glycitin, Glycitein

Functions:
1. It is a scavenger of reactive oxygen species and inhibits lipid peroxidation. It also inhibits superoxide anion generation by the enzyme xanthine oxidase. Daidzein and glycitein also appear to have reactive oxygen scavenging activity.
2. Regarding possible anticarcinogenic activity, again genistein has been the most studied of the soy isoflavones. Several mechanisms have been proposed for genistein's possible anticarcinogenic activity.
3. Genistein's anti-estrogenic action may be another possible mechanism to explain its putative activity against breast cancer. Additional possible anti-breast cancer mechanisms include inhibition of aromatase activity and stimulation of sex hormone binding globulin, both of which might lower endogenous estrogen levels.
4. The possible anti-atherogenic activity of soy isoflavones may be accounted for, in part, by their possible antioxidant activity, particularly with regard to inhibition of lipid peroxidation and oxidation of LDL.

Commend dosage and notes:
1. Heart protection: 30-50mg climacteric syndrome to reduce cholesterol and riglyceride effectively
2. Climacteric syndrome: 20-25 per day to lessen some symptom, the max doasge is 200mg per day
