Description:
Silybum marianum is one of the herbs that believed to treat liver infections. It possesses anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and some important chemical including silbinin, silymarin which is believed to be beneficial in toning liver and increase its resistance to infections.
Silybum marianum is widely recommended for jaundice, hepatitis B and C., spleen and kidney disorders, cervical cancer, breast and prostate cancer, and to decrease side-effects that are usually formed by some medications.
It was also once used to increase milk flow in nursing mothers and as a tonic for breasts.
