Indication: Used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by radiation and chemotherapy.
Pharmacology:
This product is a potent and highly selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist, has strong antiemetic effect . Chemotherapy drugs and radiation therapy can cause small intestine release 5 ¨C HT ,through the 5-HT3 receptor ,which can activate the afferent branches of vagus nerve and trigger the vomiting reflex , but it can be prevented .This medicine has antagonism on the 5 - HT receptors which located in the central nervous.
