Description:
Kemptide (PKA Peptide Substrate) is a synthetic peptide substrate for cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA) derived from the PKA phosphorylation site in liver pyruvate kinase. The presence of basic arginine residues makes Kemptide suitable for enzyme assays using the phosphocellulose-paper binding method. PKA phosphorylates Kemptide with a Km of 33 ¦ÌM.
